Eligibility of Invited pathway
- Submit an Expression Of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect to be invited
- Be nominated by an Australian state or territory government or specify that you will be sponsored by a relative
- Your age must be 45 years
- Have an acceptable skills assessment
- Score 65 points or more
- Be proficient in the English language
- Your occupation must be in the combined list of eligible skilled occupations

Extended stay pathway
This is a temporary visa that allows skilled workers to stay and work in regional Australia.
- Stay in Australia for 4 years from the date your subclass 475, 487, 495, or 496 visa is granted
- Study, work, and live in specified regional areas of Australia
- Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want until the visa is valid

- When applying for this visa, you must hold 1 of the following provisional visas:
