Eligibility for Subclass 187 Visa
- Must have the skills and qualifications required to perform the tasks of the nominated occupation.
- Be registered, licensed, or a member of an organization if it is mandatory in the state or territory you intend to work in.
- Your employer is required to sponsor you to full-time work on your subclass 482 or subclass 457 visa for at least 2 of the three years before nominating you for the subclass 187 visa.
- Must be under 45 years of age
- You must be the primary visa holder of either:
- Subclass 457 visa
- Subclass 482 (TSS) visa
- A bridging visa A, B, or C in association with a pending 482, 186, or 187 visa
- Meet health requirement

Subclass 187 requirements
- Be an intermediate subclass 457 or subclass 482 worker
- Should have worked for your employer in any city of Australia for at least two years full-time while holding a TSS visa or subclass 457 visa
- Be nominated by an Australian employer whose nomination was approved in the six months before you apply
- A copy of your passport and national identity card
- Documents proving any past or present relationships (e.g., marriage certificate, divorce documents, death certificates, etc.)
- Police certificates from a country where you stayed for at least one year
