"@type": "Answer",
"text": "LSE generally requires a strong first degree, equivalent to a UK 2:1 honours (or a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or above from an accredited university), in a subject relevant to the chosen Master's program. For Indian students, this often means an overall average of 85-90% in Standard 12 certifications from boards like CISCE or CBSE. Essential application documents include official university transcripts, a comprehensive CV, a personal statement (typically 1,000-1,500 words explaining academic purpose and program interest), and two academic references. Some programs may also require GRE/GMAT scores or a writing sample."

For most Master's programs, the 'Higher' level is required, which generally means an IELTS Academic overall score of 7.0 (with no less than 6.5 in speaking and writing, and 6.5 in listening and reading) or a TOEFL iBT score of 100 overall (with specific minimums for each section: 23 in reading, 22 in listening, 24 in writing, and 22 in speaking). Post-graduation, F-1 students may be eligible to apply for the **Graduate visa** route, allowing them to stay in the UK for at least 2 years (3 years for PhD holders) to work or seek employment without needing a sponsoring employer."

While there isn't always a fixed final deadline for all programs, it is highly recommended for international students to apply as early as possible, ideally between October and January, as most offers and scholarship decisions are made during this period. This also allows sufficient time for visa processing. Some specific programs might have set rounds (e.g., Round 1: October, Round 2: January, Round 3: April if spots are available)."

Services include one-on-one appointments, workshops on CVs, cover letters, interview skills, and access to CareerHub for job listings and events. LSE Careers runs specific programs for international students aiming to work in the UK (e.g., sessions on intercultural communication and UK interviewing) or abroad (e.g., programs for Brussels, China, India, and North America). They also provide access to platforms like Student Circus which list jobs from companies with Skilled Worker visa sponsorship licenses. Post-study, graduates can utilize the Graduate visa route to stay and work in the UK for two years."
