The University of Ottawa, aka uOttawa, is a bilingual (Both English and French) public research university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The University of Ottawa (uOttawa) has an acceptance rate of approximately 42% (Source Google AI), making it moderately selective for international applicants.

The main campus is spread over 42.5 hectares in the hub of Ottawa. It has two intakes per year – one in fall and the other in summer. There were more than 37,400 full-time and part-time students in graduate courses and 7,200 graduate students in fall 2021. Of them, 70% of students are enrolled in English-language schools and 30% in French-language schools.

The university hosts ten faculties which include the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Telfer School of Management.
