Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a one-year full-time program offered by the University of Queensland (UQ).
The University of Queensland (UQ), or Queensland University, is a Brisbane-based research university in the capital city of Queensland State, Australia. It was founded in 1909 by the Queensland Parliament. University of Queensland campus includes the main St Lucia campus. Two other campuses are in
the Gatton campus and the Mayne Medical School.
The university offers degrees from associate to higher doctorate degrees. It has six faculties: a college and a graduate school.

Educational Eligibility:
- Students need to have a recognized bachelor’s degree or an equivalent.
- Or, students need to have in Business Administration a Graduate Diploma from UQ or equivalent.
- A GPA of a minimum of 4.50 on a 7-point scale is necessary.
- Applicants need to pass a qualifying test in one or all of the following subjects: basic computing, basic mathematics, statistics, and written communication.
Work experience requirements:
All the candidates need to have four years of full-time work experience, including two years as a supervisor/manager (of people/projects).
Others:
Students without relevant academic qualifications or work experience are also urged to apply, provided they fulfill additional requirements such as an aptitude test, interview, professional registration, or referee reports.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students can apply if they satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Obtain a GPA of 60%, i.e., four on a 7-point scale.

Required Document List
The required documents are the following:
- CV/Résumé: A brief summary of educational accomplishments or grants, relevant work, publications, or volunteer experience.
- UQ Online Applications: Students need to fill out applications online to be eligible for admission.
- Educational Transcripts: Students need to provide complete educational transcripts containing their unit results.
- Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE): It is an official document granted to foreign students by Australian universities. It certifies that students have enrolled in a course and made a payment of tuition fees and the Overseas Student Health Cover premium (OSHC).
- Proof of work experience: It includes information on management experience in the form of a CV/résumé.
- Personal Statement: It should include brief details of the student's strengths, any education that they have had, and any other work experience.
- Supplementary documents: Students may need to provide extra information with the application, based on which course they have opted for.
- ELP Scores: Students need to submit their proficiency in English language evidence with their scores in IELTS, TOEFL, or any other equivalent tests.
Visa
A foreign student needs to get an Australian Student Visa to study and work in the country. Students can apply for the Student Visa (subclass 500) after they get from UQ a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Through the Department of Home Affairs, visa applications can be submitted online. There are different visa types, such as:
- Student Visa: The student visa, a temporary visa, allows students to arrive in Australia for a specific duration to study at an educational institution in Australia. If students are pursuing a course for more than three months, they require a student visa.
- Visitor Visa: When students are pursuing a course for three months or less, there are options for Visitor Visas. Students may apply for a Visitor (Tourist) Visa to get a Working Holiday Visa that allows them to study for four months.
- Working Holiday Visa: It gives young people between the ages of 18 and 30 an option to take a working holiday for up to three years.
- Temporary Graduate Visa: The Temporary Graduate Visa lets graduates work temporarily in Australia after they complete their studies.
- Relative’s Visitor Visa: If a student’s relative wants to attend the graduation ceremony and needs a letter to aid their Visitor Visa application, they can order an official graduation letter.
- Applying for Permanent Residency: International students who wish to remain in Australia permanently need to apply for Permanent Residency (PR).
- Students under 18 years of age must have approved accommodation and welfare arrangements in place before a visa can be issued.
