Permanent Migration Program
The 2023-2024 permanent migration programs include:
- Skill stream (137,100 places, approximately 72 percent of the program): This stream will address the economy and fill labor skill shortages in the labor market, including those in Australia's regional areas.
- Family stream (52,500 places, approximately 28 percent of the program): This stream is designed to reunite families living in Australia.
- Partner visa (40,500 places): This stream is for partners who want to move to Australia with their partner.
- Child visas (3000 places): This stream is for child visas for those who want to migrate to Australia with their parents.

The planning levels of the Australia Immigration
Australia is all set to invite immigrants through the Australia immigration plan for 2023-2024. Here are the categories:
- Skilled Independent visa category:
In the 2023-2024 immigration level plans, the immigration program allocated 30,375 places for skilled Independent visas.
- Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) visa category:
The Business Innovation and Investment Program visa category has fewer visas, where the plan is reduced to 1900 visas for 2023-2024.
- Global Talent visa category:
From 2023-2024, the immigration program has invited 5000 immigrants for the Global Talent visa category.
