The Subclass 494 visa or the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 494) allows skilled foreign workers to reside, study, and work in Australia for a maximum of 5 years. There are six major eligibility factors to fulfill while applying for a Subclass 494 visa. To qualify for a Subclass 494 visa, you must meet the following criteria:
 

  • Age: Be under 45 years

  • You would be required to have at least 3 years of work experience in your occupation
