The processing time for the US H-1B visa varies based on the processing type the applicant opts for. They are as follows:
- Regular Processing: The time taken for the Regular Processing can range from two to eight months, with an average processing time of three months.
- Premium Processing: The Premium processing takes 15 days for the US H-1B visa to process.
Regular processing can be converted into premium processing six weeks before the H-1B visa starting date. The applicant needs to fill out Form I-190 and pay an additional 1000 USD to change the processing type to premium processing.
