The PTE Core Test uses state–of–the–art technology to ensure unbiased and accurate scores for every one. This technology guarantees that no human examiners are involved, which helps eliminate the risk of human bias and allows you to feel confident that only your language proficiency is being assessed regardless of all other factors.
The PTE core test has 19 types of questions, and you can get a maximum score of 90 points. Scores are graded against the Global Scale of English (GSE), and the scorecard contains individual scores obtained for speaking, listening, reading and writing. While the scores for MCQ-type questions are based on accuracy, answers for subjective questions are scored based on the quality of responses.
