An employee is obliged to get certain mandatory benefits that are offered by the Austria government. The benefits they bring are paid annual leave, parental leave, worker's compensation insurance, and paid sick leave.
Now, there are two types of employment- Workers and employees.
Workers are referred to as skilled manual labour, and employers are mainly referred to as someone serving a particular company. There is some difference between both of them.
The difference between worker and employ benefits are based on some point:
- Sick pay
- Reasons for absences
- Remuneration dates
- Notice periods and dates
- Grounds for premature contract cancellation
All of these reasons are meant to be followed by an employee.
