The Provincial Nominee Program or the Canada PNP is a program that allows people to migrate to a specific Canadian territory or province.
IRCC uses CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) to evaluate the score for every foreigner’s profile that is submitted to the Express Entry pool. Candidates need to score at least 400 in order to be eligible for a Provincial Nominee Program in Canada.
Applicants for immigration can gain up to an additional 600 points based on:
- A nomination from a territory or province
- Canadian experience and skills
- Canadian degrees or certificates
- A valid job offer
- French language abilities
- Blood relations living in Canada who are already a citizen or permanent residents
A Provincial Nominee Certificate gives you 600 points towards your Express Entry score.
