Who can sponsor for a Canada PR?
The individuals interested in sponsoring a Canada PR must be permanent residents or Canadian citizens. The individuals must meet the following criteria to sponsor:
- Be 18 years of age
- Reside in Canada or have a plan to return to Canada once the legal spouse is a permanent resident of Canada
- Be financially stable and willing to cater for the financial requirements of the family member for a minimum of three years

What is the cost required to sponsor a family member in Canada?
Canada PR holders sponsoring spouse and children must pay $150 for each individual child included in the application. If they are sponsoring partner of a relative, then they must pay an extra $1,050.
