An EU Blue card is a type of residence and work permit issued by the EU member states. The blue card is issued to highly skilled or talented non-EU/EEA nationals to enter and work in the EU country. With an EU Blue card, individuals can enter and reside in the country throughout the validity period with a re-entry option. EU Blue card holders can exercise benefits similar to those of EU country nationals and have their families accompany them. Individuals with a Blue card can also move to another EU member state after completing 18 months of full-time employment in a country. The cost and processing time may vary depending on the country you are applying for.
