Extraordinary ability can also help you with your U.S. Green Card.
EA, or Extraordinary Ability, is covered as a sub-category under EB-1
Employment-Based Green Card. According to the U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USIC), the extraordinary ability is taken to imply a “small
percentage of individuals who have risen to the very top of their field of
endeavour”.
To qualify for EB-1A Green Card, you must –
- Be able to provide evidence of possessing extraordinary ability in arts,
business, education, athletics, or sciences - Have earned a reputation in your respective field. You must also have
documents to confirm the same. - Have the intention of continuing to work in the same field.
- Must be able to demonstrate as to how the expertise would benefit the U.S.
- Have obtained national or international acclaim.
