Top in-demand jobs in Ontario
Ontario tops among the other provinces as the employment rate rose by adding 68,000 jobs in November, and on the whole, the province added 648,600 jobs in the first quarter of 2024. In Ontario, the jobs highly in demand in Canada were from the following sectors:

- Mining
- Manufacturing
- Education

- Finance
- Human Resources
- Hospitality
- Sales and Marketing
Among these, the Healthcare sector has the most number of job opportunities. Along with this, other sectors are also screaming for hiring the right candidates. Ontario is in dire need of workers to fill the labor market demands. Hence provincial Immigration Minister Monte McNaughton decided to double the number of workers to settle in the province.
