The Subclass 189 visa is a Skilled Independent visa and does not require sponsorship from a state, territory, or employer. You can live and work anywhere in Australia. The Subclass 190 visa, on the other hand, requires state or territory nomination and may have location or commitment conditions. While both visas provide permanent residency, the 189 visa offers more freedom, whereas the 190 visa can be easier to obtain with state support.
