How can an Indian citizen apply for a Qatar Work Visa?

Step 1: Receive a confirmed job offer from a Qatar-based employer.

Step 2: Employer applies for a Work Permit with Qatar’s Ministry of Labour.

Step 3: Employer gathers and submits required documents (contract, company papers, your certificates).

Step 4: After work permit approval, the employer sends you the visa invitation/approval.

Step 5: You apply for the Qatar Work Visa at the Qatar Embassy or VFS centre in India (submit passport, photos, PCC, etc.).

Step 6: Wait for the embassy/VFS to issue the entry visa.

Step 7: Travel to Qatar on the issued entry visa.

Step 8: Complete medical tests, fingerprinting, and formalities in Qatar to get your Qatar ID (QID).

Step 9: Once QID is issued, your work visa and residency are fully active and you can start work.
