Step 1: Get a job offer from a Bahraini employer or company
Step 2: The employer submits your “New Expatriate Permit” application on the Expat Management System (EMS) of the LMRA.
Step 3: Arrange the visa requirements and submit them to your Bahraini employer
Step 4: The employer completes the initial administrative fee payment via the EMS
Step 5: The LMRA verifies your application and documents.
Step 6: Your Bahraini employer will be notified of the work permit approval
Step 7: The employer will then pay a final work permit fee
Step 8: Once your work permit is granted, you can apply for a residence permit via Bahrain’s General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residency Affairs (NPRA).
