You can extend your stay in Canada while on a tourist visa by applying for a Visitor Record.
There are some requirements to apply for the Visitor record, which are listed below:
- Apply at least 30 days before your current validity expires.
- Submit your application for a Visitor record through the IRCC website.
- You must provide a reason for extension, proof of sufficient funds for your extended stay, and updated travel insurance.
