There are four types of work visas in Luxembourg:
- Short stay: This short stay visa is for international professionals to stay in the Schengen area for 90 days or a total of 180 days
- Long-stay visas: A long-stay visa is for foreign nationals who want to travel to Luxembourg for more than three months.
- Residence Permit: Foreign nationals wishing to move to Luxembourg for employment can apply for a residency permit.
- EU Blue Card: Citizens of developing countries who wish to work as highly skilled professionals in Luxembourg for more than three months are eligible to apply for the EU Blue Card.
