You will be able to apply for a student visa in France only when you have been accepted into a program at a French institution.
To apply for your visa, you must contact the French consulate in your home country and give the following information when requested:

- Proof that you have enough money to live in the country.
- A return ticket to your native country is required.
- Proof of health insurance (minimum coverage €30,000, US$40,150).
