A person who is working remotely for a foreign company or is freelancing for a client whose company is on foreign lands can apply for Malta Digital Nomad Visa. They must have a valid travel document, such as a valid passport.
The applicant must have a rental agreement or a proof of accommodation during their time of the stay in Malta. The applicant must have a minimum income of 42,000 euros per annum per person along with a medical insurance that is valid in Malta and covers all the risks in Malta. The applicant must also clear background verification and must also adhere to the standard procedures that are related to the visa and other permits.
