Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area. It should also have at least 2 blank pages available for visa stamps. If your passport is close to expiry or has no blank pages, you should renew it before applying for a Spain tourist visa to avoid rejection.
