Switzerland Foreign Skilled Worker Visa Cap for 2025
According to a recent announcement by the Federal Council of Switzerland, the country will issue around 8,500 foreign skilled worker visas in 2025. Qualified foreign workers from third-world countries will get work and residence permits in Switzerland.
The authorities have also decided to issue a B-residence permit to around 4,500 workers, allowing them to stay for longer periods in the country. The remaining will get an L short-term residence permit in Switzerland. The current cap count aims to keep pace with Switzerland's economic and labor market demands.
