Eligibility for Scholarship
To be eligible for the Vanier CGS, you must:
- International students interested in pursuing doctoral programs in Canadian universities or candidates with Canadian citizenship or Canadian permanent residency holders are eligible to apply for the Vanier CGS scholarship.
- Must be enrolled in any doctoral or research program in a Canadian university
- A Canadian university with a Vanier CGS quota must designate applicants.
- Must have secured 1st class in past two years of their study.
- Candidates who have not completed 20 months of doctoral degree as of May 1st, 2024, can to apply for this grant.
- Candidates who are not availing of any other doctoral scholarships or fellowships.
