BSMQ - Business
and Skilled Migration Queensland believes in offering an opportunity to
successful skilled immigrants. This is for joining its community and
contributing to the growing economy and great way of life.
Queensland nominates skilled immigrants in occupations that have demand. This is for both Provisional and
PR Visas that permit them to reside and work in Queensland.
State
Immigration Plans have been launched to permit the individual Australian States
for sponsoring General Skilled Immigration applicants. This is under a wide
range of occupations for filling shortages of skills within their labour
markets locally.
The State Immigration Plans specify the occupations that can be nominated by Territory and
State government for Visa applications. They also indicate the number of Visas
that will be offered under the program, as quoted by the SMH.
BSMQ is the
State nominating agency for the Government of Queensland. It is also a business
division of the TIQ - Trade and Investment Queensland. The agency nominates
