PEI Canada the Prince Edward Island province has offered 199 Canada PR ITAs in the draw held on 21 February. This is for economic immigration candidates. This is more than double the 91 ITAs offered by the province in the draw that it held in January.
170 ITAs for Canada PR through
provincial nomination was offered by PEI Canada in the latest draw. This was in
the Labour Impact and Express Entry
categories of the province, as quoted by the CIC News.
29 ITAs were offered to
Entrepreneur candidates. This was through the Work Permit Business Impact stream of PEI Canada.
The PEI PNP is a part of the Provincial Nominee Program of Canada.
It permits participating territories and provinces to nominate a fixed number
of candidates annually. This is for Canada PR Visa through economic immigration
streams.
PEI PNP has an Express Entry
stream that is associated with the national Express Entry system. Candidates in
Express Entry are required to first
complete an individual EOI profile with PEI PNP. This is for being
considered for a provincial nomination from the province.
The profiles are offered scores
based on diverse factors. These include among other French or English language proficiency, work experience, and education.
The candidates with the highest ranking are offered ITAs for Canada PR. This is
through nomination from the province through draws held every month.
PEI Canada accepts EOIs from the candidates in the Express Entry pool
who do not possess a job offer in the province. Nevertheless, priority is
offered to those who are already working and residing in the province.
The Labour Impact Category of PEI
PNP is not associated with the Express Entry system. It is categorized into
streams based in EOI:
- Skilled Workers Overseas and in PEI
- Overseas Graduates
- Critical Workers
