The Australia e600 Long Stay Visitor Visa permits you to:

Long Stay Visitor Visa is different from the Australia ETA. It is not processed instantly. This visa is available for wide range of nations and has 1-year validity. Meanwhile, ETA has a strict limitation of 90 days validity.
Approximately 20 working days are required for processing the Australia e600 Long Stay Visitor Visa from the date of application. Applicants for this visa must possess valid and current passport to qualify.
Immigrants visiting Australia through this visa must agree and be able to comply with visa conditions and validity while in Australia. Your visa may be canceled if you do not abide by these conditions. You may also be subject to other penalties, as quoted by the Visabureau.
The rules of conduct for immigrants possessing Long Stay Visitor Visa while in Australia are:

- They cannot study for more than 90 days residing in Australia
You may be granted the visa with the condition of ‘No further stay’. You will not be approved any other visa apart from a Protection visa if this is the case during your stay in Australia. In exceptional circumstances, this condition may be waived. The holder of the Long Stay Visitor Visa must exit from Australia before the visa validity expires.
