The MPNP - Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has offered fresh invites for Canada PR nominations in the draw held on 25th April. MPNP permits Manitoba province to nominate a specific number of candidates for economic immigration annually. This is through the diverse streams that are designed to cater to the unique needs of the labour market in the province.
The latest draw
offered ITAs for Canada PR nominations to 299 candidates from 3 streams of
MPNP. The break-up is as follows:
• Manitoba
Skilled Workers - 208
• Overseas
Education Stream – 25
• Overseas
Skilled Workers – 66
All candidates
invited through Overseas Skilled Workers
stream were directly invited through a Strategic
Recruitment Initiative said MPNP. These are inclusive of the MPNP led
overseas recruitment initiatives. This is often in collaboration with employers
in Manitoba province, as quoted by the CIC News.
Immigration
aspirants must first submit an EOI - Expression
of Interest to be considered for Canada PR nominations from MPNP. They must
also offer required information about their profile. This includes among other
details their Work experience, Education,
Skills in French or English and connections to Manitoba if any.
Qualified
profiles are offered score and made to enter into the appropriate stream of
candidates’ pool. Those who secure the highest scores are offered Letter of Advice to Apply - LAAs for
Canada PR nominations. This is through regularly held draws.
The lowest score
of the candidate in Manitoba Skilled
Workers stream who received the invite on 25th April draw was 510. It was
632 for candidates in the stream Overseas Skilled Workers.
The Manitoba Skilled Workers stream is open to
qualified provisional overseas workers
and overseas student graduates. They must be currently working in the
province of Manitoba. They must also have been offered a permanent job offer by
their employer in Manitoba.
