Canada offered 3,350 Canada PR Visa ITAs to Express
Entry candidates in the 7th draw for 2019 held on April 3rd. The minimum CRS /Comprehensive Ranking System score continued to
lower even in this draw and were 451. It is 1 point lesser than the minimum CRS
for the previous draw. This was held on 20th March and the CRS was
452, as quoted by the CIC News.
The 3rd April draw is the third successive invitation round for Canada PR Visa in which the CRS has lowered. This trend can be attributed to the fact that just 2 weeks are elapsing between two consecutive draws.
The tie-breaker
set for the latest draw was 07:35:09 UTC
and January 9, 2019. This implies that:
- All applicants with 451 plus
CRS score received the invitations in this draw - Even those applicants who
scored 451 and submitted their profiles prior to the specified time and date
also obtained the ITAs
The system of
Express Entry administers the pool of applicants for 3 main economic immigration programs of
Canada:
- Skilled Worker Class Federal
Program - Skilled Trades Class Federal
Program - Canada Experience Class Program
Qualified
candidates under each program are offered scores under the CRS - Comprehensive
Ranking System. They are then entered into the pool of Express Entry and are
ranked accordingly here.
A fixed number of candidates with the highest ranking are then offered an Invitation to Apply for Canada PR Visa. This is through the frequent draws held on the pool.
So far in 2019
ITAs for Canada PR Visa have been offered to 24, 550 candidates including the
latest draw.
