Indians received the highest Canada PR invites offered by Ontario province in 2018. Applicants born in India received the highest nominations for Canada PR than applicants born in any other nation.
2, 651 Canada PR invites were received by Indians out of the total 6,
850 nominations offered by Ontario in 2018. This represents 39% of the
total nominations, as quoted by the CIC News.

candidates who received Canada PR invites offered by Ontario province in 2018

Nearly 50% of the total Canada PR invites via nomination offered by
Ontario in 2018 was for Express Entry candidates. This has been revealed by
the latest report by OINP - Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.
Just 36% of the nominees
possessed a job offer in Ontario before receiving the nominations. Also, just 3
of the 8 non-business streams that offered nominations in 2018 need a job
offer.
OINP has 3 streams that are aligned with the federal Express Entry
stream. These also do not specify
job offer in their other eligibility criteria.
The Human Capital Priorities Stream has however in-built flexibility.
This permits it to target candidates in Express Entry based on the labour
market needs of the province.
Other OINP streams also offered
nominations in 2018 without mandating a job offer. These are the Ph.D. Graduate and the Master’s Graduate
streams.
The 3 streams of Ontario aligned
with Express Entry have been particularly active in 2018. They offered totally
2, 053 invitations for a nomination from Ontario.
The HCP stream is dynamic from
the very beginning of 2019. It offered
1, 493 Canada PR invites in the draw that was held on 14 January 2019.
