The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program is among the pathways for immigrants to obtain the Canada PR. It often tries to find candidates in the Canada Express Entry who can fulfil criteria for any one of its streams.
You will receive
an NOI if OINP identifies you in the pool. It is in your Immigration Refugees
and Citizenship Canada online account. Receipt of a Notification of Interest does not entail that you are eligible for
one of the categories in OINP.
Upon receiving
the Notification of Interest - NOI, you can file an application with the OINP
online. It is if you are entitled through one of the Express Entry streams of
Ontario. The application has to be filed
in 45 calendar days of receipt of the NOI, as quoted by the CIC News.
It must be noted
that not every one of the candidates who satisfy the criterion for an Ontario
stream will get an NOI.

French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream - 549
The OINP permits overseas students, workers, and others to apply for Canada PR through nomination from Ontario. This is if they possess the right education, experience, and skills.
The OINP program
is:
• Administered by the Government of Ontario in collaboration with the Federal Government
through IRCC
• Created to assist Ontario in meeting its
economic development and labour market needs
Application process
There are 3 major steps to be followed while applying for Canada PR through OINP:
1. Ensure you
qualify
You must ensure
that you fulfil all the mandatory criteria specified for a stream. This is
after you select a specific OINP stream.
2. Apply to receive a nomination from the Ontario
government
You must submit
the application online through e-Filing Portal of OINP once you select a stream.
The process of completing the application takes around 2 to 3 hours.
The application
cost for:
• Human Capital Priorities and Employer Job
Offer streams are either $2,000 or $1,500
• $3,500 per key staff applicant or business
partner for the Business Streams
OINP accepts
only MasterCard Debit, MasterCard, Visa Debit and Visa.
The application
processing times are variable for diverse OINP streams.
3. Apply for Permanent Residence to the Government of
Canada
You will receive
a nomination from the Ontario government if your application is successful. The
next step is to apply for Permanent Residence to the Government of Canada
