The H-1B Visa
filing process for FY 2020 has begun today i.e. 1 April 2019. The fiscal year 2020 begins on 1 October
2019. The filing window is normally open for just some says. It is until

The H-1B Visa is
for US employers to recruit overseas
workers in specialty occupations. It is a provisional or non-immigrant

allocated to each applicant. The lottery
is held through a computerized system. The numbers are picked out by it randomly,
as quoted by the IB Times.
An employer data hub will be available online from 1
April 2019 said the USCIS. This is a part of
efforts to enhance the transparency for the process of filing and Visa
approval. The public will be able to search for H-1B applicants on this data
hub. This is by State or Zip code, City, Company name and Fiscal year.
All these
measures will assist individuals in calculating the rates of approval and
denial. They can also review employers who are a part of the H-1B program.
The order for conducting the lottery has been
reversed by the USCIS from April 1 onwards this year. Now the Master’s
degree holders will participate first in the 65,000 cap allocation and then
also in the 20,000 allocations for advanced degrees.
