Canada offers many immigration pathways for immigrants to move to Canada. While some pathways prefer candidates with a job offer, immigration programs like the Express Entry system and Provincial Nominee Program allow candidates to immigrate even without a job offer. Both the programs have multiple categories with separate eligibility requirements that allow candidates to migrate to Canada with a PR visa.
Canada Immigration through Express Entry without a job offer
The Express Entry system has three major immigration programs which allow immigrants to migrate to Canada with work experience in different sectors.
The different immigration programs are discussed below:
CEC
The Canadian Experience Class allows experienced skilled workers to become permanent residents in Canada. You would be eligible to apply for a CEC if you have a minimum of 1 year skilled work experience in Canada. Your skilled work experience must be from a paid source of work and you had a temporary resident status while working.
FSWP
Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program offers skilled workers to settle in Canada if their profession is listed under the Skilled Occupation List. This is also a points-based online program which assesses candidates based on their skills and experience. Applicants are placed on a pool which would be accessible to the employers. IRCC sends Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with the highest points. The number of ITAs issued however, depends on the Annual Immigration Level.
FSTP
The Federal Skilled Trades Program offers experienced tradespeople to work and settle in Canada. Tradesperson with professional work experience in constructions, maintenance, HVAC, agriculture, cooking, bakery, plumbing and manufacturing works can obtain Canada PR visa through this program. FSTP offers great opportunity for tradesperson to permanently live in Canadian provinces like Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
