US citizens can apply for the Canada Express Entry program if they have the minimum CRS score. The Express Entry system manages economic programs like the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria for any of the three immigration programs and score the minimum CRS points required are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the CEC are two of the most common pathways for US citizens to apply for Express Entry from the US. Top-ranking candidates from the Express Entry pool are invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada via the regular Express Entry draws. Once submitted, IRCC takes around six months or less to process the Canada PR applications.
