Can a student get PR in Sweden?
A student permit does not lead to permanent residency in Sweden. However, there is an exception for PhD level. If a student is granted with doctoral degree, the time in Sweden will be counted as permanent residency. International students who come to Sweden to study who wish to stay longer can eventually obtain permanent residence.
