BC Canada - British Colombia province has offered fresh PR ITAs to migrants, graduates and entrepreneurs. 494 invitations to apply for Canada PR via provincial nomination were offered in the invitation round held on 31 October. This was for candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration, Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams.
The Express Entry invitations were offered to candidates in 2 categories. These were EE Skilled Workers and EE Overseas Graduates categories.
Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination obtain 600 extra points. This is towards their score in Comprehensive Ranking System. This effectively ensures ITA for Canada PR in the subsequent federal draw, as quoted by the CIC News.
35 ITAs were offered to the candidates who fulfilled the criteria for the stream Entrepreneur Immigration. The criteria for Entrepreneur Immigration BC PNP amongst other includes:
- Possess a personal net assets worth minimum 600,000 CAD $
- Demonstrate management and or business experience
- Possess or be qualified for legal migration status in Canada
Aspiring migrants to BC Canada must score minimum points as specified by the PNP. This is in the SIRS -Skills Immigration Registration System.
