Australia Skilled Visa Annual Indexation
The immigration authority of Australia has recently announced to increase the minimum salary requirement for skilled visas in Australia. The new income requirement is likely to align with the annual Average Weekly Ordinary Time Earnings (AWOTE).
Income thresholds are indexed to match the income levels of Australian natives and the foreign workers in Australia so that skilled migration does not affect recruitment of local workers. The new changes will be implemented from July 01, 2025.
