The Australia Skills assessment fee is likely to increase from March 1, 2019. This has been announced by the Victoria University Skilled Migration Assessment Services. It has said that fresh applications will not be accepted under the existing Fees and Services Deed after February 28. This includes applications for reassessment and appeal, as quoted by the SBS.
CRIS - a Cost Recovery Implementation Statement has been developed by TRA - Trades Recognition Australia for its RTO Assessment Services. The CRIS documents the charging model that commences on March 1, 2019, for:
- TSS Program - TSS Skills Assessment Program
- OSAP - Offshore Skills Assessment Program
- TRS - Trades Recognition Service
It is likely that the fees for Australia Skills assessment for Trade Occupations that are assessed by RTOs will increase from March 1, 2019. The new fee could likely be as below from March 1:
- Assessment Fee Documentary Evidence - AUD900
- Pathway 1 Fee - Technical Interview - AUD2, 000
- Pathway 2 Fee - Technical Interview - AUD900
- Fee for Practical Assessment - AUD2, 200
- Fee for Reassessment of Documentary Evidence - AUD450
- Pathway 1 Fee - Technical Reassessment - AUD1, 000
- Pathway 2 Fee - Technical Reassessment – AUD 450
- Fee for Practical Reassessment - AUD1, 100
