What is a Subclass 100?
The Partner (Migrant) visa Subclass 100 allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, to live in Australia indefinitely. If you have a temporary Partner visa (subclass 309), you are eligible to apply for the subclass 100 visa.

Eligibility for subclass 100
To be eligible for Subclass 100, you must fulfill the eligibility conditions given below. You must:
- Be either married or in a relationship with your eligible partner.
- Have a legally accepted marriage in Australia.
- Been in the relationship for at least one year if you are in a de facto relationship.
- Be the legal spouse or partner of an Australian Permanent resident or a citizen.
- Be at least 18 years old or more
- Be sponsored by your partner
- Hold a temporary partner visa holder (Subclass309)
- Meet the Australian requirements of character and health
