
Twenty lady passengers have been detained with fake Visas at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. The Immigration authorities at RGIA said that the women were scheduled to depart for Kuwait.
19 out of the 20 women are from Andhra Pradesh while 1
is from Tamil Nadu. This was informed by the Rajiv
Gandhi International Airport Circle Inspector Vijay Bhaskar.
The women were
arrested by the immigration authorities for carrying fake Visas said Bhaskar.
They were departing for Kuwait by an
Air India flight, he added. It is being investigated as to how the women got
the fake Visas, informed Bhaskar.
All the 20 women
have been remanded said the Inspector. An appropriate
case has also been registered against them. The investigation is now
underway, he added, as quoted by the ANI News.
Indian citizens
arriving at Kuwait will need the following travel documents:
- Applicants
must have an Indian passport. They
must carry it along with them at all times during their travel in Kuwait. The
passport must also have a minimum
validity of 6 months after arriving at Kuwait. - The GCC Residency Permit of the applicant must have a validity of minimum 6 months after arriving at Kuwait.
This is essential to qualify for applying to the Kuwait Travel visa. - The
authorized Kuwait E-visa must be
with the person during the entire visit to Kuwait.
The overseas
national arriving at Kuwait must ensure that they possess all the mandatory
documents during their travel. They must have all the accurate and appropriate
documents. These must be in accordance with their passport, Kuwait Tourist Visa
and include other travel documents as well.
