Priority Occupations for Canada PR Pathways 2025
In a recent announcement, Canada has released updates regarding the first set of priority occupations for Canada PR. The city of Timmins has released the list of priority occupations eligible for the PR pathways.
Timmins is the first community that has revealed its priority occupations and sectors for both pathways. Priority sectors have been released for the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP). Certain occupations under the Trades and Transport have been excluded from new PR pathways.
The following are the priority sectors for FCIP and RCIP:

- Education, Law and Social, Community and Government Services.
- Trades and Transport.
- Natural Resources and Agriculture.
