  • Study program must be at least 6 months long
  • Must be a full-time student at a DLI or Designated Learning Institute
  • Must be enrolled in any of these:
  • Post-secondary academic, professional, or vocational training program
  • Secondary-level vocational training program (only in Quebec)
  • Study program must lead to a diploma, degree, or certificate
  • Must have a Social Insurance Number or SIN

As a foreign student, you are eligible for the Canada post-graduation work permit after completing your graduation from a designated institution.
